Community Notices

Community Notices

If you have a community notice you would like posted on our ‘Community Notices’ section of our website then please send an electronic version of your notice to help ‘hasten’ the process. Please do not bring along a hand written note. Alternatively we have a school notice board for hard copies. Please note that we are a ‘School’ not an advertising agency. Therefore, we endeavour to deal with community notices at the end of the week: Friday.

We give priority to notices for our local community. For further details please contact the school office administration.

Help Kids get organised:

Making tidy fun

Getting organised helps everyone feel on top of things, especially those with the kind of personality that prefers structure, predictability and orderliness. Keeping living areas uncluttered is not always compatible with busy family life, but there is a way to keep chaos at bay. Attacking everything at once is too overwhelming, so set aside five or 10 minutes at the same time each day for everyone to work as hard as they can on a specific job such as emptying the dishwasher, putting books back on the shelf, filing papers, or picking up clothes and shoes. If you enjoy it, then it will be fun for the whole family. Playing music while you work and following up with a celebratory snack will help too. When tidying up is a fun part of the day, kids will be more co-operative and learn to value the benefits of staying organised.
